Alain Morisod: «J’ai passé cinq ans de ma vie sur scène au Québec»

SHAWINIGAN | Traitez-le de ringard ou de has-been tant que vous voudrez, Alain Morisod n’en a cure. Quand il chante avec ses Sweet People, les salles sont pleines. Spécialement au Québec, où il est accueilli à bras ouverts depuis maintenant 40 ans.

«Dans votre pays, j’ai fait spectacles. Ça veut dire que j’ai passé cinq ans de ma vie ici sur scène, au Québec», fait remarquer le chanteur suisse, que Le Journal a rencontré le mois dernier, quand il répétait à Shawinigan le spectacle qu’il a présenté depuis le début d’avril partout en province.

On l’oublie parfois, tellement ça fait longtemps qu’il fait partie du paysage musical, mais rares sont les artistes européens qui ont obtenu autant de succès que lui chez nous. Alain Morisod le reconnaît lui-même, sans fausse humilité.

TOURNÉE DE NOËL ​

Lors de leur dernière Tournée, fin , on avait crû comprendre, sans trop y croire, que l'aventure "SweetPeople" trouvait son épilogue et s'achevait "pour de bon". Au grand dam de leur nombreux et fidèle public qui se sentait abandonné par ce groupe pas comme les autres. Mais les soucis de santé d'Alain Morisod en étaient la cause principale.

 

CLAP DE FIN…MAIS PAS TOUT-À-FAIT ! 

 

Deux ans plus tard, à l'instar de nombreux artistes et surtout sur l'insistance d'un public qui ne les a jamais lâchés, 

                               AlainMorisod et SweetPeople sont de retour !  

Il aura suffi d'un spectacle en avril et deux concerts lors d'une croisière en Grèce pour décider Alain et ses comparses de reprendre la route… "L'envie d'avoir envie !" 

 

Dès lors, on les retrouvera pour leur traditionnelle "Tournée de Noël"
