A Regional Call
I've been studying the statistics of my blogs, and, six months into my official retirement from the office, I would now like to send out a regional call to practitioners of magic from Bali, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and perhaps India. I would include Brunei and Malaysia except that I may not get any respondents from those countries.

There are certain requirements:
1) You must have a full Google+ account with a complete profile that I can readily access.
2) You must be a practitioner of magic indigenous to your country (no Wicce, no Strega, no Celtic magic, no Qabbalah, and whatnot borrowed from other cultures).
3) You must have a deep knowledge of your indigenous mythology.
4) You must be a mature individual, at least 50 years of age. No snotty teenagers, please.
5) I will accept only one representative from each country. Needless to say I am the sole representative from mine.
I will eventually send out a questionnaire for you to fill out.

Tony Perez is a Filipino playwright, novelist, and visual artist with an M.A. degree in Religious Studies, an M.A. candidacy in Clinical Psychology, and an A.B. in Communication. He has authored two major, full-length trilogies of plays in Tagalog, some of which have been translated into English and Polish. His full-length play “Trip to The South” were performed in New York and in Singapore; another full-length play, “On The North Diversion Road,” was performed in Melbourne and in Singapore. In the late 90s there was a group in the Philippines known as the Spirit Questors, a collection of people with special abilities that would help earthbound spirits "cross over". Stories of the Questors' adventures quickly spread and they were often seen on TV or print media investigating and helping people with problems relating to the paranormal. The group was started by Tony Perez, an author, artist and adjunct lecturer who taught a Shamanism class in Ateneo de Manila and De La Salle University. My husband was able to take that class in college and was always astonished about the things he had learned and experienced in it.
