Indian cinema director, producer, and screenwriter Boyapati Srinivas is also known as Boyapati Srinu or Boyapati Sreenu. Boyapati has won two state Nandi Awards and is most recognized for directing action movies in Telugu cinema.
Boyapati Srinivas was born in Pedakakani, in the Andhra Pradeshi district of graduating from JKC College in Guntur, he pursued his post-graduate studies at Nagarjuna University. His relatives own a photography business. Boyapati was a part-time reporter for the Eenadu newspaper and had a passion for photography.
He relocated to Hyderabad to pursue a career in film, and in his cousin Posani Krishna Murali that Boyapati work in the direction department of Muthyala Subbaiah studio. For movies like Oka Chinna Maata, Gokulamlo Seeta, Pelli Chesukundam, Pavitra Prema, Annayya, and Manasunna Maaraju, Boyapati collaborated with Subbaiah.
Boyapati is married to Vilekha, and the couple has three children.
