Former Secretary of the Interior Honorio Ventura launched an attack against Quezon for his rejectionist attitude to the law. Quezon attacked Ventura. Ventura attached Quezon. So Quezon made a privilege speech in the Senate, and it was published in the papers as the following autobiography in response. Afterwards, President Quezon said one of the things he regretted most in his political life was making this speech against Senator Ventura, as it was mean. However, Quezon and Ventura made amends shortly before Ventura passed away.
