Allah Nazar Baloch was born on 2 October in Mashkai, Awaran District, Pakistan. He graduated from high school in and went on to Atta Shad Degree College, graduating in with a premedical degree. He then attended Bolan Medical College in Quetta.

In August , the Pakistani military announced that Baloch had been killed while fighting government forces in Awaran district. Two months later he released a video, revealing that he had survived the encounter and remains in charge of the BLF.
Baloch rebel leader Allah Nazar appears in new video
A separatist leader from Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, who the government believed it had killed in August, has appeared in a new video.
Allah Nazar said he was still leading the insurgency. A Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) spokesman said the video was shot this month.
Government officials told the BBC that Nazar appeared to be alive and they were working to verify the video.
The rebels say they will oppose planned Chinese investment in the region.
"For quite some time the government has been issuing propaganda about my death. This is a blatant lie," said Nazar, who vowed to continue to fight.
In September, Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said the government believed Nazar had been killed in a major military operation in Awaran district in August.
"If he is alive, the Pakistani state will keep hunting him as long as he insists on secession, disregards our constitution and keeps killing innocent people," Mr Bugti told BBC Urdu from the provincial capital Quetta.

IN: Please tell me something about your background and how did you start your political journey?
ANB: I was born in a common Baloch family in Mashkay, Awaran district. My family’s occupation was similar to that of a common Baloch—living a nomad’s way and working as seasonal farmers. As far as my political life is concerned, it started in through the Baloch Students Organization (BSO).

When Franklin D. Roosevelt, the U.S. president (), died in April , the U.S soldiers were still fighting in the World War II (WWII), the deadliest war in the world history. One American soldier, deployed in Europe, wrote to his wife living in the US: We’re sorry to hear the news about Roosevelt’s death, but his death cannot shock us as thousands of humans are dying in front of us every moment.
I could understand what he wrote at a superficial level. But I must admit that for years I could not really feel what the soldier meant. I could only make it in August , when I heard the rumor about the murder of Dr Allah Nazar, the face of the Baloch freedom struggle, during a Pakistan military operation in Balochistan.
The news did make me upset, yet, like the American soldier, it did not shock me. For more than a decade, I’ve been reading or hearing about the martyrdom of my friends, colleagues, class fellows in the hands of the military on almost a daily basis. To me, Dr Allah Nazar’s death was an addition to the count of the dead Baloch, whose bullet riddled bodies I see almost every day on the social media.
